Life of Joseph Segarra

Born on August 20th 1931 - Passed on April 28th 2025. Joseph passed at the age of 93 years old.

Joe was a longtime native of Loomis California, born and raised.  He was a dedicated Husband and Father, built his own home in Loomis where he raised his family.  In his younger life he served in the military as a sergeant in the Army.  Joe was a real community man; He was a little league coach for 7 years and the equipment manager for Rocklin Little league where he coached his sons Mike and Louis.  Everybody loved Joe, he was fun and enjoyed life.  Joe competed in the Masters age group running races; locally 10Ks and nationally, he ran Pikes Peak with his wife, marathons and the American River 50 mile.  He was really good!  With the family he went on a  2 night Colorado River Group Rafting trip vacation. For his 50th anniversary he went to Hawaii and did the zipline in Kona with his wife Joyce!  In his later years he subdivided the family land and did a mini subdivision, gardened, and joined a bowling league in Rocklin with his wife Joyce.  He loved sports, especially watching the SF Giants and the 49ers.  Joe & Joyce just celebrated 66 years of marriage prior to his passing.

He is survived by his wife Joyce, daughter Lorra & son-in-law Drew, sons; Mike & Louis & daughter in law Helen, grandchildren Tyler & Haley, 10 nieces & nephews and his many cousins who all will deeply miss him. He was a good sweet person and treated everyone kindly.
